Description

Colas' opaque Nebula panel features a delicately scattered pattern of circular micro-perforations, distributed without any apparent repetition. Each finely pierced hole, with its modest diameter, contributes to a free and subtle composition, evoking suspended stardust or a starry night sky. The cluster of perforations gives the impression of a graphic cloud suspended and floating on the surface of the metal. Unlike traditional perforated sheets, in this barely openwork pattern, randomness is embraced as an aesthetic in its own right: the dots appear to have been placed by the wind or a light sedimentation, creating a blurred texture with no symmetry or fixed reference points.
